Great Truths from Jesus’ Conversations With the Apostle John presents, in dialog form, the messages of the seven letters in the Book of Revelation. According to the direction of the risen Christ, the Apostle John wrote to seven churches in ancient Asia Minor. Each letter served to evaluate how effective each church was in following the teachings of Jesus and being a positive witness to the world. Each conversation contains background information related to the politics, religion and culture of the city where the church was located. The letters contain commendations, reprimands, exhortations and promises from the risen Lord Jesus Christ. For contemporary churches, each letter is an ongoing challenge to “hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev. 1:7).
Following the account of each conversation are interactive learning exercises that can be completed individually or in a group setting. This book is a handy tool for group and individual Bible study.
